Product Information
The oil is extracted by steam distillation from the leaves of the geranium plant whilst flowering, as the plant has the highest essential oil content at this time.
The odour of geranium is quite complex. Fresh, rosy with nuances of mint, it gently fades into a rich, lingering, deep sweet rose, slightly herbal aroma.

Balancing, natural antiseptic, astringent, tonic, calming to the skin, uplifting, energizing, regenerative and a natural insect deterrent.
Directions
In aromatherapy in massage and bath blends to harmonise, balance and comfort during menstruation and menopause. Relaxing and soothing to an overworked mind and balancing to the emotions. Also used in various skin care products, especially for mature, dry skins. Uplifting and energizing to the skin’s natural regenerative properties. Also useful for normal and oily skin to balance.
Safety
Non-Toxic. Rarely, may cause skin irritation in some individuals. Do not use during any stage of pregnancy. Keep away from children and eyes. Meadows do not recommend that any essential oils are taken internally or applied directly onto the skin.
