Organic tea tree essential oil is produced by steam distillation from the leaves of the shrub. Has a warm, spicy turpentine/eucalyptus mix type odour. The use of tea tree oil as ‘natures natural antiseptic’ in recent years has grown tremendously. This oil is now used in an extensive selection of therapeutic and beauty preparations for its wide ranging antibacterial properties.

Organic tea tree essential oil is effective as an anti-bacterial agent down as low as 0.20%. It can be used in natural cosmetics as a preservative. This oil can be used diluted as a mouthwash, for bad breath and to maintain healthy mouth and gums. Add tea tree oil in a vaporiser to keep air born germs at bay, and for when you need to maintain the upkeep of healthy airways, optimising smooth and effective respiration. Used in foot baths to deodorize, soothe and comfort irritated skin.

Non-Toxic. Rarely, may cause skin irritation in some individuals. Do not use during any stage of pregnancy. Keep away from children and eyes. Meadows do not recommend that any essential oils are taken internally or applied directly onto the skin.
